How to leave the well paying job, but still get paid

Hello everyone,
I really want to fill up my passport before it expires this year, and was thinking of taking a European trip, which I've never done.

Do you make a great living right now without requiring a home base? In my opinion that will determine whether you can continue earning when you're on the road.

Cheers,
Terry

Money saved by not having a residence is offset by needing to pay for accommodation while travelling. It makes the travel a little cheaper, but it doesn't really save you money (unless you're camping or couchsurfing maybe)

If you can make money through clients gained online (ie, elance or similar) then you can make that money anywhere. Getting to a stage where you're actually making decent money off of elance could take a while though. As Terry says, the safest option is to shape your life to not require you to stay put first and then start travelling.

You could take a job that requires you to travel across various countris. Or you could use your talent as a freelancer while travelling and get paid.
