Check the weather. June to October is monsoon season in much of Asia and some areas can be VERY wet, which is why there are cheap air fares then.
Best time to go is December to March when you can be lying on a beach every day instead of maybe freezing back home.
For women on their own,Thailand is about as safe as anywhere in the world nowadays, with many, many solo women going there each month. You can meet them in Khao San Road.

I will do some research on where has better weather tho because i think one of the coasts is drier than the other that time of year 😀😃
How would i get from bangkok airport to the area of khao san Road?? Is it within walking distance or would it be better to get a taxi??

Yeah same here im saving and then going to book flights abt may time to make sure ive got enough before i go 😀😃 how long you hoping to go for Alysha?? A few of my friends went last year in july monsoon season an they still came bck with an awesome suntan 😀 so its still better than our summer 😝👍

Hey there! I am 27 from the UK and female and also hitting thailand in June! I get there in June 9th and travelling to Koh phangnan for the full moon on 30th. Are you going there? I've been looking at accomodation and trying to find somewhere I can meet people and be close to the party scene but also not too close so I can relax too? Do you have an itinerary?

Yeah same here im thinking a month- to possibly 6 weeks i did wanna do thailand and vitenam an combodia too but people on this have said it usuali takes a month to see a full place- and if ure a first time traveler its best to concentrate on seein one properly! So i was thinking just hitting thailand- doing bangkok, koh samu, phi phi, phagan and koh Tao!
