Reisen in der Regenzeit

Hi
I plan travelling central- and southamerica this year. I would like to start around july in panama and travel from there south for half of a year.
Unfortunately would I be in some countries during the rainy season. How bad is travelling in the rainy season? Is it better to change my trip?
Thanks for your help.

I find this Web site useful to find out temperature and rainfall in the areas where I am traveling: http://www.climatemps.com/

Thanks for the link. I saw that for example the july in Managua (Nicaragua) probably has 20 days of rain with 134 mm. Does someone know whether it usually rains one short time a day very hard and the rest of the day is dry and sunny?

Like many places in the tropics, you're likely to see short powerful bursts in the afternoon with longer showers at night during the wet season, usually from mid-May to mid-November. Nicaragua is prone to hurricanes during the wet season. Keep in mind that weather patterns are subject to change.

All right!
Thanks for your information
