For NYE in Sydney, book accommodation within the next two months. (Seriously.)
Also consider not going with a "hop-on" bus, but just with regular public transport, such as Greyhound and their regional competitors. That tends to be the cheapest way to get around, and you'll still meet plenty of fellow travellers at the hostels you stay at.

I get to Sydney on the 5th sept & have been thinking about joining the OzIntro group on the 7th sept! I had a look into UltimateOz that you mentioned Keeley & it looks a similar sort of thing, so I might join you! also thinking about Sydney for NY - heard it's the place to be! 😄

I've actually changed now and doing the second week so starting ultimate Oz on the 14th as its better for me.
But basically when you pay this company you are also able to add the visa at the same time obviously with an additional charge so!

I'm flying straight from the states as I'm doing camp America before! Bit of a crazy idea now I'm planning everything haha I'm coming with another girl but she might go straight to work on a farm to get second year visa, just don't know if I want to do that straight away! What are your plans?xx
