Where to go for my second year extension farm work?

Hi, I am a 21 year old Canadian living in Melbourne on my first working holiday visa in Australia. I am now at the point where I have to look into doing my three months of farm work to get my second year. I need to find work latest the beginning of July. I'm only looking for paid farm work because I can't afford to not get paid. So where is best to go? Any suggestions or things I should know? I'm also open to finding travel buddies since I am on my own!

Check the big Havest Guide PDF on the for which regions of the country have work at this time of the year. I'd recommend going somewhere before peak time, when everyone is still looking for workers, rather than having them already.
Also expect to not work for a full three months at a time, but to go from job to job, and lose some days in between due to that. Keeping that in mind, do not wait for the very last day to start looking.

Hey I'm looking to do my farming mid July , looking for a friend to do it with.

Hey Lyndon! Do you live in Melbourne? Where are you from? Maybe we can catch up and coffee or something.

Hey, I'm from the UK and I'm living there ATM, been here for four months after leaving oz because I ran out of money, looking to do my farming around late July or sometime in August , I'll be in Australia around that time so we could maybe meet up then for a coffee if your still around and see if we fancy fruit picking! If that's cool

I discovered this site awhile ago:

It seems AWESOME for getting regional work! As in no b.s. and no double-listing of seek and indeed!
