Gap year after uni

Hi there!

There are lots of "adventure" tours all over the world. Some are geared only to those in their 20s and 30s. They may or may not involve camping. Others are for all ages. The prices are reasonable. I'm not sure that I can name any of them in this forum. But there are large reputable ones based in Canada, Australia and South Africa. Their Web sites are easy to find. I've been on several "adventure" tours and enjoyed them. They are good value. One final note. Some tours geared to the young cater to the party crowd (they party all night; sleep it off the next day). They are easy to spot; and usually involve camping. So unless you want to party, I'd avoid those. So read the description of the tours; and check the reviews.

A mix of independent travel (to Europe and Southeast Asia, for example) and some "adventure" tours (perhaps to Africa, South America) should make for an exciting gap year abroad. Hope this helps.
