Transfer in Heathrow

k8thegr8 has indicated that this thread is about Czech Republic

It looks like only one set of gates (24a, 24b, 24c,...) in terminal 3 uses buses, all the rest of the 55 gates are airbridge connected. Even so these are close to the stands where the planes park so shouldn't take long.

Do you need to reclaim any hold baggage and drop it in for your onward flight? Or is it checked through between flights by the airline? I would think waiting for baggage reclaim would be your longest delay. If you can travel hand luggage only you could eliminate that delay.

Also will you already be checked in online for your onward flight? That would save queuing to check in. With no baggage to worry about and already checked in I'd say you could comfortably transfer in under an hour - the Heathrow website suggests allowing 70 minutes.

Did you book the two flight legs separately, or are they on one ticket with one airline?

Cheers,
Terry

Luckily one ticket with one airline !

Then you should be fine, your luggage should be checked straight through to New York and you should have ample time to get to the next gate. Don't stop and shop on the way though, haha...

Cheers,
Terry

Shouldn't be a problem I'd think.

Two hours should be more than enough time! You'll probably even have time to spare, from my experience at Heathrow.
