Butrint: an ancient Roman, Greek and Venetian city of ruins
Ksamil: a beautiful beach town with 4 small islands that you can swim to
Blue Eye Spring: a natural underground spring that's very pretty
Gjirokastër: an old Ottoman styled city with a nice castle
From Tirana take a day trip to Krujë - it's castle is great!
You can get super cheap public transport to all of these locations and none of them should take longer than an hour to get to. Taxis also are not very expensive, if split between 3 of you
