Hey I am going to be going to aus next month on my own with no real travel plans, I was thinking of going to a hostel for the first week or so to get a feel for it and to meet people! Before starting work as I have a whv, would be good to hear from anyone with info on where is good to go or anyone who is also going as I'm doing it alone!

Im going to Sydney 1st with the intention of staying there a few months n then heading up the coast.
Ok that's cool. I'm not really sure where to head to first? Was possibly thinking Perth, how did you decide?
I made my decision on where the majority of people I spoke to online were going. TBH I'm just winging the whole thing and hoping it works out. If I don't find what I want in Sydney I will hit the road until I do. Its so far away its hard in my opinion to make judgment on where to go and what to do, im guessing as you meet people it will all fall into place.

I'm going Melbourne mid sept have booked a hostel for a week.. I'm planning to work first then travel & tour the east coast
