How long will my blog stay on the site?

Hi

They'll stay up as long as travellerspoint.com exists. The site is currently 13 years old, and the blogs feature has existed for 10 years. Travellerspoint is not a "here one year, gone the next" startup. I don't know if there's any formal plans for what to do if the site will ever have to cease operations, but knowing Peter (the admin), I imagine he would try to give everyone as much time as possible to prepare, and would probably code up some additional backup features of your personal content while he'd be at it.

You can right now already create a complete backup of your blog in one document in either PDF or HTML format by going to your blog management area => Manage => Print and clicking the "Generate PDF" or "Generate HTML" button.

Additionally, if you use a feed reader, and enable "Show complete XML feeds" in your blog's settings, that that should have your feed reader automatically create another backup of your blog entries. (This would be only going forward, though, starting at 25 entries ago, so unfortunately missing out on your first 59 blog entries. But all the same, good to have as an additional possibility.)
