Kuala Lumpur is probably better to restart your 30-days. Air Asia, which flies from KL, has some relatively inexpensive fares to Denpasar. I flew that route recently. Denpasar is a hub for flying to the other Lesser Sunda Islands, such as Flores. If you like snorkeling and beaches, you'll enjoy a boat tour of Komodo and Rinca islands. You sleep one night on the boat; and visit both islands. Besides seeing the dragons, you'll snorkel with manta rays, some of which leap out of the water. Bali is loaded with tourists. The other islands are less traveled. With six weeks, you'll be able to see a lot. Indonesia is budget friendly, so you might be able to do it for a thousand pounds. But if you like to party, you'll probably need a bit more.
