i am new to travelling alone and planning a solo trip to Vietnam,Cambodia with minimum expenditure as possible,also i am looking for a backpacking tour no luxury hotels to stay so what are my options also i wanted to know if there are any interactive tour guide application in the market which works on android also will work in places with no network which can give me indepth information about the monuments in and around Vietnam and Cambodia also what are the places to be vistited here?
Good old fashioned paper travel guide will help you too! Even a quick Google check will give you some hints on what to see and do. If you do not have a laptop or desktop computer borrow some time on one or visit an internet shop for your research. Maybe just make some copies of the appropriate information that interests you.
If your time is short in these countries put a priority on what you really want to see and do that first. Know what your visa requirements are for the passport you enter with. Also DO NOT leave these two countries with their currency, no one else wants to change it later on. USD usually work in these two countries too but you will need their currency for cheap purchases. (Google check "what currency" for Vietnam and Cambodia.)

For first time visit to these countries my advice is to avoid any flights that arrive during the middle of the night. It is easier to book hotels and plan your visit when you arrive during the day or early evening.
