Hi everyone ,
I am intending on travelling to Myanmar early September . I want to do a little travelling but also want to find work teaching English . If anyone has any advice on any of this I would be great full . Ie ; the best places to find teaching work ; the best places to meet ex pats that have connections within education,advice for solo travellers or just anyone to meet up with on my arrival 😊.

Which TESOL/TESL Certificate do you have?

At the moment I don't have a tesol certificate at the moment . But I have got a lot of experience working in schools I was a teaching assistant for 4 years in many different schools . I could also complete a course before I leave .

Getting certified would be your first step. Your teaching assistant experience is largely meaningless for any real job...

It's really hard to find information as there are so many conflicting sources of information about what schools ask/require you to have . Where do you get your information from ? Are you teacing there now ?
