West coast bus tour...Help!

Hi everyone

You shouldn't have any problems traveling by bus. There are quite a few options, including Greyhound. There is bus service from SF to Yosemite. Go online to check. Even so, it might make sense to rent a car for a day or two, as it will be more convenient in certain places. Passenger rail also is an option.

Fly into San Francisco, or LA. And fly out from the other. SF is convenient to Yosemite. LA is close to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. There are bus tours from Vegas to the Grand Canyon. From Vegas, rent a car and visit the five national parks in southern Utah: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches. Also visit Dead Horse Point State Park. You will be amazed!

There is a lot of information online. Hope this helps.

It is hard to get around without a car in California, but not impossible. There are bus lines that you could travel on. The destinations that you chose are possible by bus. However, if you do not want to drive, I would recommend traveling by train. The train is more comfortable and roomy, not to mention that there can be snack bar or dining cars. Also there are probably lounge cars where you can relax, lay back, and enjoy the scenery along the way.
