Hi, in October I'll be visiting London for 2 days. What main interests can I visit during my stay ? What would you recommend ?
I think that depends entirely on your interests. London is huge, and you can spend a full week there without running out of things to see and do. Something quintessentially London (not really, but it feels like it) might be to go catch a show at the theater, for example Phantom of the Opera (yes, that should still be running, and I at least found that worth doing, despite the hefty cost of the tickets).
Beyond that, I'm personally not much for the big sights, and get most of my enjoyment out of just wandering through the different neighbourhoods, sniffing up atmosphere. It's a big city though, so expect to get tired from all the walking. Outside of rush hour, a doubledecker bus city tour - for all that it's horribly tacky - is actually quite a decent way of getting an overview of all the places you didn't see yet and might still want to explore on the second day.

Thank you for the recommendations ! I think I will consider riding the doubledecker as it is a much easier way of seeing the landmarks

LONDON just LONDON
Day ticket on bus (buy in underground stations) £5
Walk around in the city - Trafalgar square, Soho, Oxfor Street, Picadilly Cirkus, the parks around Buckingham Palace.
Buses bring you easily from one part to the other, and you can sit on top deck in front, and really view Landon and it's people.
