I have an Obstruction of Highway charge on my record. I applied for my Visa and now they are asking questions. Is that just protocol or do they really deny a visa for traffic violations?
Which visa? Work & Holiday? I doubt they'd deny it, but I assume they asked a question during the application process where you stated that you had a conviction or somesuch, and then it doesn't seem too outlandish to me that they ask followup questions, particularly if (as I assume is the case here) the visa application process doesn't actually ask for detailed information about the charge.

James- I arrive in Brisbane Jan 6th and going to head to Gold Coast for a month or so.
