I know it's really terrible situation in Thailand.
As I heard from announcement from PM, he does not to use any violent action to the red-shirt protestors. Anyway, no one can garantee.
If you come to Bkk, it's quite difficult to visit Wat Phrakaew and other attractive places in Rattanakosin island where is a old-side of Bangkok. Anyhow, I saw on TV, travellers can visit it. But it's just difficult to get there becuase the protestors are blocking some road for going those places.
What's more, department stores in Siam Square area which is a shopping area are effected from this demonstration as well.
I suggest why you don't travel outside Bangkok first and make a decision again. Ayutthaya province, where is ancient capital city of Thailand, is one of interesting choices. Probably, you can go some beaches such as Hua-Hin, Samed island, Lan island, etc. It's summer season and good time for going to some beaches. Or you can go to some islands in Andaman sea, those are beautiful too.
Usually, RTW trips are done for the experience. What can be more of an experience? You might even get to experience the next coup!
The protests are not violent. Any animosity isn't directed at tourists anyway.
I've just come from Thailand and the Southern Islands are completely unaffected by the protests. I get the impression that Thai people on the islands don't particularly care too much about politics, other than the negative effect it has on tourism.
As for Bangkok itself, the Siam area is a cool area that is worth visiting for shopping (especially the MBK centre) and that's been affected by the protests, so if you wanted to see Bangkok under normal circumstances then now isn't the time to go. But if you desperately wanted to see 'normal' Bangkok then you could always visit the islands for a couple of weeks then review the situation then and head back up to Bangkok later on.

I agree with Emmett70 here. I too have just come back from Thailand and all I can say is southern Thailand is absolutely safe. I am a woman and was travelling alone and I did not face any problems anywhere.
You can start your journey from southern side, visit a few islands and Phuket and then head towards eastern or mainland of Thailand.

My Daughter is going to Thailand for a month at the end of June with the ISV program,
With all this violence and killing going on i'm getting concerned for her safety..

I share your concern about your daughter's safety. However, June is still several months away and I really doubt the current battle between the 'red shirts' and the Abhisit gov't will still be going on in late June. Hopefully Thailand will solve this dispute in the next month. It is not good press for Thailand to be seen as an unstable country. Not good for business or tourism. The King has helped solve previous political disputes and hopefully he can do so again.
The "ISV program" will be informed of the situation.

but in other places such as Pattaya in Thailand as it will not
influential because the places were the tourism sector in Thailand,
