So, I'm wanting to go somewhere in Europe, Solo or with a friend if any want to come with, problem is what is best? I like the idea of eastern europe because it's far away, so which way is best, safest, easiest and least hassle way to travel? p.s I'm not too sure about driving in forign countries due to their high road fatality statistics. + Crime rates and theft of cars is a problem?
Train is usually a good option, though it can be quite crowded in the summer months with interrail travellers. Depending on your fellow passengers, travelling by train may, or may not be a relaxed way to go from one destination to another .
If you want to go by plane, ryanair may give some good offers to fly somewhere cheap, though be aware of the optional costs etc.
Personally I'd pick a train. Especially to go from one place to another within Easter Europe. Guess train would be least hassle.
Don't know about driving by car in southeastern Europe. Poland, Czech Rep. and Slovakia is generally not that bad to drive.
