Here is a on getting to Siem Reap. Buses leave all day long. If you are in PP before noon, then perhaps you could get over to one of the bus stations and be in SR before dark. Easiest way is to use one of the GH buses. I have used Capitol GH before and will use them again. Stops at their GH in SR of course, but room rates are competitive with other GHs. They can arrange transport to Angkor and getting your 3 day pass as well. This gives you a full 3 days in SR instead of 2. Good luck with your planning.

Thanks. If we direct go bus station to get the ticket, will it be available? Does any bus company have online booking system? If we use Capitol GH, but without living in their SR guesthouse, will it be alright?

If you look at Capitol GH buses, they leave every hour until noon. There is no chance they are all going to be full. That would be the easiest way. Taxi to Capitol, buy a ticket on the next bus going to SR. Or head over to Central Market and book with Sorya Transport. I do not know any that accept online reservations. You won't need them, buses are not full for every departure. Yes, you can ride with Capitol GH and stay wherever you like. Here is a for all things Cambodia.
