Overstayed Visa in Germany

Hey! I've been researching Europe because I plan to travel there this summer, and the Schengen situation is super confusing. This page was really helpful for me: http://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/how-to-legally-stay-in-europe-for-more-than-90-days/

I heard you have to pay a fee of 500 euros if you over stay, but this article also says some countries don't even look twice so if I were you I would try and leave from Spain or one of the more lenient countries mentioned in the article. Hope that helps!

A friend of mine was kicked out of Germany for overstaying her visa, so whatever you do, you better do something quickly before you get a mark in your passport that makes travelling to Europe a lot harder down the line...
