Yes Vienna is expensive. It's about an hour from Bratislava by train, so you could always base yourself in Bratislava and day-trip in to Vienna.
Krakow's lovely. I once did a bicycle tour there, just a couple of hours but it worked very well as you got a wider range round the city than you would on foot. Trip out to the salt mines was also very good.
Bratislava - I liked. Fairly low-key but friendly and interesting. Lots of street sculptures. Castle nice. Took a bus to the TV tower, long walk through the woods to the tower then a free ride to the bar at the top and great views over the city and countryside. Took a boat ride on the Danube, walked over the bridge through the park to a shopping mall to wander round. If you like these sort of low-key sights, it's a lovely city.
Oslo's also lovely, good choice. The museums over at Bygdoy are good - there are 5 in all, the kon-tiki's good, and if you know anything about viking history then the viking ship museum is jaw-dropping. A nice viewpoint is take the metro to Holmenkollen ski jump stadium, or further to the end of the same line and walk to the tv tower through the forest (there's a theme developing here!) from the top you can see to Sweden on a clear day. I liked the wartime resistance museum at Akershus too. If you'd like to see Munch's The Scream you can see it for free at the National Gallery rather than paying at the Munch Museum - but that tip may well be out of date! I'm sure one of the originals has been stolen since then!

The information was really helpful! Can you tell me of a good hotel to choose in Bratislava and Vienna? all hotels have good and bad reviews which makes it hard to decide.

We stayed at the Ibis in Bratislava, right next to the castle and near the old town, about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. We were very happy with it. Some reviews had talked about noise from the trams but when we went (last summer) they had that line closed.
The plan sounds good to me. I have been in Bratislava and it is damn cheap! But there isn't anything much to see there. I would say Vienna would be a better choice, albeit a bit more expensive... If you have been to Paris (lived there as you said, you may not find Vienna to be way different), so you may choose a German city like Munich or Berlin instead (Berlin is very cheap and there is soooo much history to be explored and a good party place as well).
