Hi everyone. Alex and myself are a 25 year old couple leaving for Cairns on 7th Oct. We have never travelled before so are hoping for as much info and tips as possible :D
We plan to spend roughly 2 months travelling down the East Coast to end up in Sydney for Xmas and NY. We are torn between using Greyhound bus or buying a cheap camper to travel down in. Any tips/ideas?
We are also unsure as to whether we need sleeping bags or not? A lot of forums say no but if we get a camper surely we will need one then?
After NY we plan to find work in Perth for roughly 6 months before we move onto the next country.
Anyone doing anything similar we would be happy to travel with or meet up
We are also looking to book an appartment to stay in for 3 nights for NYE but will be booking that ASAP as I hear their nearly fully booked already.
We are also looking to book a hostel for a couple of nights in Cairns to find our feet so any suggestions would be welcome
