Hopefully finding work won't be too difficult as I'm a mechanic and apparently they're quite sought after (fingers crossed!!)
Also if other people are gonna be about, get in touch. Would be good to know some people for when I get there

I booked a starter pack thing through STA which includes the first 2 nights accommodation, reimburses the taxi price from airport to the hostel, sorts banks out, a SIM and tried to help out with jobs/CV's if needed, but don't really know much more that that so god knows what will actually happen!
I'm not heading out to Perth until late January so you'll be the organised one by then and i'll be in the position you are now! Haha, so any help when you get there will be useful to me! Haha.
If you're still going to be around Perth then it'd be good to actually know someone when i get there, especially someone who's in the same position as me!

You chicken! going through an agent! I thought I'd be brave and try to organise it myself! I've been cheating a bit though, my mate arrived back home a couple of months ago so I've been asking him about everything I need to do

Thank you for the links, I'd already seen Sander's post, but I Had no idea about the super so that made for an interesting read! Hopefully I won't arrive back home completely broke! but it's always nice to get a tax and pensions rebate it's like a little welcome home bonus haha

Haha Lee, I like it! It may be expensive in Australia but the pay is good and you get sent home with cash!
