Grand Circle Southwest, timing help

Hi All,

This is not a difficult decision in my opinion.

The desert gets really cold at night during any period except Summertime. In April, expect the average lows to be about 28 degrees F (-2 C) in Bryce Canyon and in the Grand Canyon;--way too cold to be camping there unless absolutely necessary.

The hottest point on this trip in June will be Lake Powell or Moab, where in June the average high is about 93 degrees F (34 C), which, while not the best for hiking, is not the worst either. I'd definitely opt for doing the trip in the late May to end of June period. If possible, though, I'd try to spend the last days of June in Bryce Canyon or the Grand Canyon and the first days of the trip heading for Lake Powell, Monument Valley, and the Moab area.
