I am going to another city and little confused to sell or rent out my existing home. According to me, renting is better than selling because property up it's market value with the passage of time and through it I can collect money for my further needs. What is your opinion?
Personally, I would rent. At least you'll have that little bit of income each month, but do take into account everything that comes with being a landlord. I'm sure there's certain guidelines etc.
Be careful as there are some poor agencies and some very bad clients out there.
I let my house out in the UK for some years, and had several bad experiences.
Go for renting no doubt it is a better option but just be a little careful in selecting the agency and also the people whom you give your place to and make proper legal papers of renting covering all your needs.
