I didn't go to Sumatra but spent 2 weeks in Java and Bali. Borobudur and Mount Bromo are definitely must - sees, and I'd also recommend a couple of days in Yogyakarta.
Lovina is a nice little beach town in Bali - much nicer than Kuta and with some good snorkeling off the coast.
My comment same as above but additionally I need you spend a time in Bali much more than a week.
I supposed you take a ferry between the islands so lovina have a ferry pier from Java island.
Anyway, if you need flight by plane you must heading to Kuta beach there is an int'l airport Nguralai there.
from Bali airport there are many flight to any country and welcome to Thailand there are 2 flights service.

Concerning easy ways to hop from island to island, i suggest the plane unfortunately. You can find cheap flights from a destination to another domestically.
In 3 weeks you'll have time to enjoy this beautiful country. I guess if you had more time (or change your mind), you could visit the East side of Indonesia, with Flores and Komodo which are amazing destinations and not too touristic yet.
The way from Flores to Komodo by boat is full of incredible snorkeling and scuba diving spots.
And there's also the North Part of Indonesia with Manado & the Bunaken area in Sulawesi.. Also amazing and very relaxing with a lot of dolphins around..
You'll have an amazing time there with, hopefully, not too much rain

i have already interested in some famous hotels
but i can only afford the cheapest of this hotels i suppose

I'll be travelling to Indonesia in January 2014 for 3 weeks, but I'm undecided of where to visit.
I'd really like to go to the following places but I know I have no where near enough time to cover all. Are there any easy routes to try and visit all three islands in 3 weeks?
Sumatra- Lake Toba, Bukit Lawang, Pulau Weh,
Java-Borobudur, Mount Bromo
Bali-Ubud.
I'm not too fussed about going to Kuta in Bali, but would like to get some beach, cultural and adventure time during my stay in Indonesia. Anyone been to the places I've mentioned?
