NAB (National Australia Bank) has no fee accounts. Also Bank West has good account options and all banks let you have a debit/visa card that is linked which is handy
you basically want one with the least amount of monthly fees if none at all and also one that doesn't charge you for using other banks ATM's. I think Bankwest refunds you the fee when you use another banks ATM
Commonwealth is the biggest bank in Oz has the most cash points so least charges. i'd suggest them.
