Hi looploose, for overland transport the lines are currently always straight which means they will always be the same both there and back. If you select airplane or leave the transport mode blank it will be a curve. I don't think this is something that I want to change about how it functions even though I do recognize that it doesn't clearly indicate the return journey.
With the stops, when you click on it it is selecting the first one, but you can use the arrows to navigate to the next stop and it will show you those dates. Also when you click on the location on the left hand side it will highlight the correct stop dates. Fixing this would require an extra click from the user to select which date range they wanted to see. I'm not sure that this is worthwhile if the user can already just click through the left/right arrows to get there. It's interesting this hasn't come up before though.
