I'll be there in Kerala January 2014.
Plan to do Kettuvallam (houseboat) trip; stay couple of days in a Kumarakom resort, as well as Munnar. And of course main centres - Kochi, Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) etc.
Looking for a decent travel companion.

Well, i work for a Travel Company but i am not here to sell you anything.
I am here just if you need any suggestion or information regarding your trip.
If you are comfortable to stay in low budget class hotels then i would suggest you to hire hotel on your arrival & use local Transportation for traveling.
So you can save money and you get more chance to meet locals and have a depth knowledge of Indian Culture.
Believe me this is the best way to Visit India.
