Your situation has been addressed dozens and dozens and dozens of times in , especially near the end.
Bottom line:
1.) There is never a guarantee, but chances are overwhelmingly in your favour that it's a complete non issue.
2.) If you can't put it out of your head then simply do the paperwork and get officially cleared to visit. End of story.
Anything else is a waste of brain cells.
