Am arriving in Bangkok a week Monday and am looking for suggestions for somewhere to eat and have a few drinks where I won't stick out as a lone traveller... am staying near Khao San Road but not sure the vibe there appeals to me... you could prove me wrong of course :-)
if you are not Asian and around 5' 6" you are going to stick out no matter where you eat or drink.
Over 21, visit a beer bar or pub in Nana area of Bangkok. You will be just one more Farang taking up space.
Some supermarkets have restaurants; malls have restaurants and food courts.
