Honeymoon travelling help

Hi
Me and my partner would like to see a bit of the world for our honeymoon. We are planning on going for three weeks, we've started to look into destinations. Theres quite a lot we want to fit into 3 weeks and I'm worried it's too much. I would like to know peoples opinions on who have been where in the list and how long they'd suggest or what destination they may drop...
Here's what we have...
Thailand-
Bangkok 3 days
Chang mai 3 days
Malaysia-
Kuala Lumpur 3 days
Australia-
Cairns 4 days
New Zealand-
Auckland 3 days
India-
New Deli 3 days
Goa 3 days

On honeymoon it is traditional to be exhausted - but not from the travel.

So - I suggest. I week in each of Thailand, New Zealand & India. That would give you a great variety of places to visit, with a bit of the exotic thrown in. And enough of a taster to see if you would like to go back to any of the places.

Steve

It is too much. You'll spend more time travelling and stuffing around with airports and planes than just relaxing. I'd stay longer in Cairns (or somewhere nearby) and give Auckland a miss.

Hi

First, where's home? To figure how to advise.

That is a silly schedule, I thought it was a joke!

Three weeks would be rushed for New Zealand on its own. If you were doing one week there fly into Queenstown and visit Te Anau and Wanaka, Dunedin at a stretch. But really a week would be minimum and that is if only coming from Australia. With a few days more fly up to akl and rent a car to do a loop to see Rotorua plus whatever grabs you out of glowworms, hobbiton or white island volcano.

Delhi + Sri Lanka would be about right for me for three weeks and would give a lot of that Thailand vibe without the extra jetlag.

You'll be divorced if you stick to that insane schedule.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Terry

Hi, I would suggest you can go for Barbados, Barbados is the most luxurious place in the world, This pristine beach island flaunts great natural beauty, from the wonder of underground caves to the beautiful vistas and the tropical colours of flora found across the island! Believe me you will love this place (and its people).

Thanks to those of you who have helped but to those of you with sarcastic comments why even bother posting if your going to be negative. I thought these forums were in place to help people.

I have never travelled before and this is why I have asked help of those who are more experienced. I know that it's too much to fit into three weeks but I was giving a rough idea of what I am interested in. In the hope that people would have been to these places and may be able to advise on lengths of stay in each place and which places not to bother with.

As an enthusiast, I would recommend you consider a cruise as an option. A great, stress free way to see a bit of the world in some comfort, & flush toilets. You could not do all of your Itinerary by ship in your time limit but you could touch some of them. Search any of the cruise line websites to find something that appeals. Filter their search function by month of travel, length of voyage, & embark / disembark / itinerary port.

You can check my Blog on TP for what I have seen on shore from cruises, but I like cruises that have sea days included. There is nothing quite like tranquil sea days.

I am going to be on a 22 day trans Pacific from Sydney to Vancouver in April that would be ideal for a Honeymoon.

Happy life to you both.

Steve

rah92, don't confuse sarcasm with straightforward and honest. Your schedule makes no sense, get over it and reevaluate.

Good luck with your research.

Cheers,
Terry
