It depends what you like to see and do, but my favourite European cities are:
St Petersburg, Venice, Rome.
Then London, Oslo, Tallinn, Moscow, Copenhagen, Berlin, Budapest, Prague, Barcelona, Kiev, Athens, Istanbul all have plenty to see.
Finally these places are cheap and still interesting: Poznan, Belgrade, Sofia, Bucharest, Bratislava, Brasov, Riga, Vilnius, Kansas, Gdansk, Warsaw.
