Yes, very sad indeed. I can't help but wonder why they just didn't turn around instead of proceeding into that weather front?
From now on, I will be watching the weather very carefully when I fly, and I have 3 short trips booked on Air Asia in the next few months. I do think this carrier is a good one.
But weren't they not even authorised to fly that route on that day? I have only seen snippets of reports while on the road but that seems a fairly substantial issue to me.
