10-12 days is not enough to go to South France, Alpe d'Huez, then North France, Italy (south and north...).
I think first you need to get hold of a map, and look at the places you want to go.
You need several days to 'do' Nice and from there you can go to Antibes to spend a few days on the beach.
From Nice visit some nice places around (Eze, etc) - you can take a train to Avignon/Aix or Lyon or even Paris. Or go from there to Italy (less familiar with trains into Italy.
