New Years in Cambodia

Hey there,

Hey
It really depends what you want to do. I visited several places in Cambodia but wasn't there over New Years. It's an awesome country though and I'm sure you would love it. Sihanoukville is good if you want to party - kinda like what the southern Thai islands have on offer, just a little more... raw I guess. I personally preferred Kampot, not far from Sihanoukville, as it had a much more relaxed vibe but still a lot of fun to be had! Even Siem Reap has a decent nightlife scene; Pub Street in the city centre is pretty cool. Even if it is tourist central. I could imagine there would be lots going on there for New Years. But, like I said, it depends on what you're after really.

If you're willing to spend a bit more money, New Years in Singapore is really cool. They have some amazing firework displays and a lot of events across the city. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
O.J.

Thanks for the info 😃

Contingent on how deep your pockets are, I would suggest Singapore as an apt destination to celebrate new years too.

I lived and worked there for 10 years so I've seen my fair share. So everything from watching the fireworks at Marina Bay, partying on Sentosa to just attending being amongst massive crowds on Orchard Road, Singapore pretty much has it all covered.
