Hey, Im 21 finishing Uni, and I'm heading out to Sydney for a 12 month working holiday at the end of September and was wondering if theres anyone else out there then/ anyone has any advice on hostels, jobs, going alone etc.

Hey Nick - I just wrote up a ton of info for friend. Would be too long to post here, but I will try to put it up in the next couple of days and send you a link.
short version - try to work-trade instead of staying at hostels, get involved with community groups (meetup, play sports, whatever) to meet as many locals as you can. Jobs are more about who you know than what you know!
