Hello, My name is Nat. I'm going to Japan with my friends around December. It's our first time to go travel in Japan, so I'd like to know some good tips to travel there and How to prepare before we go. If anyone can answer me it would be very grateful of you.
Language barriers are intense in Japan and you could learn a few frequently used and important phrases in Japanese.
Also, for communication purposes, it is recommended that you rent a wireless router or "pocket Wi-Fi". Once you reach Japan you may have to take a number of short trips on trains and getting a Pasmo card or Suica card will help. Since private cabs can be expensive, prefer public transport system(you could use the mobile app called "Hyperdia").
