Hi, I am looking to go to Thailand at the end of February for 4 weeks. This would be my first travelling so its all new to me. I would like a few companions to meet out there. Anyone thinking of going the same time please reply to this post or send me a message, thanks
Thailand is full of tourists this time of year, and a lot of them on their own. Easy to make friends with like minded people. Most of the Thais you come into contact with will speak some English. Remember, be polite to them.
Thailand is as safe as anywhere though there is some trouble with pick pockets in places like Bangkok.
If you have not booked any accommodation, book some ASAP. It will be a bit hot and sticky so air conditioning is a good idea.
It's easy to get around by bus, train or plane. Decide where you want to go, what you want to see and do and ask some relevant questions.
