I'll be going to Thailand in March and I guess I will have the regular 30-day visa upon entry. I will then move on to Bali for a few weeks and will return to Thailand to catch a return flight to Amsterdam. Does anyone know if I will then be able to get another 30 day visa in Thailand to stick around a bit longer?

Yeahh I think that should be fine! A standard tourist visa expires as soon as you leave the country so you should be issued with a brand new one when you come back into Thailand.
