danish cities and towns

LucaL has indicated that this thread is about Denmark

Hi Luca,

Copenhagen and Odense are definitely good choices. I think Roskilde is a must as well, and you can visit on your way to Odense from Copenhagen. It's only about 30-40 min from Copenhagen on train. They have a great Viking ship museum, a wonderful cathedral and a very nice, cozy city center. Ebeltoft another great place, old cobblestoned streets, lots of beautiful old building and it's by the sea and can be reached by bus from Copenhagen, the easiest and cheapest way, unless you rent a car and do the grand tour of Denmark. If you're based in Copenhagen it's also very easy to reach Frederikssund and Frederiksvaerk, might be worth a daytrip, all depending on how much time you have.

All in all I think it might be a good idea if you post a little bit more about your trip: How long time do you have, what is your budget, do you plan on public transport (which btw is pretty good in Denmark) or do you rent a car, what do you like to do when travelling (museums, nature, churches, shopping, or just people watching OR????)

Let's know what else could be of any help to you. Have a great day.
