I am going to Thailand mid-March for a few weeks and am a little anxious about my trip as I am a girl traveling alone. I plan on flying to Bangkok and then going towards Ko Samui, Ko Pha Ngan and possibly Phuket, although I have been there already a few years back.

Im going to thailand first time 20th march-20th April. My only desire at this time is to do some suba diving and kayaking, hit a wellness retreat spa and go to the full moon party on 6th April. I usually travel solo but this time i want to meet some people interested in the same things. I will be meeting a couple of friends at different times in my trip but i dont want to go to the full moon party alone and dont really want to sift through people at a hostel to find good people.

I was thinking about going to the Full Moon Party as well on the 6th. I might have a friend traveling with me if he can get out of work. I've heard a lot of great things about the Full Moon Party. I agree with Lee about sifting through a hostel to find good people, it can be frustrating sometimes.

Hey guys...my friend and I arrive in Bangkok on March 30th, then onto Koh Tao, Ko Phangan and Ko Samui, before heading to Chiang Mai for Songkran.. would be great to have a good gang of people for the April 6th full moon party..Im not a huge drinker either but want to go have a look and soak up the atmosphere

Sorry for my delayed response! I will be landing in Bangkok this coming Sunday the 18th and will be sticking around till the 21st, so Lee maybe there's an op to meet up then? I will then be heading down by train towards the islands. Koh Tao will be my first stop and I will definitely be heading to the Full Moon Party on the 6th, Trishy Baby I'm not a big drinker either but LOVE to dance, so that seems like a good combo... perhaps we can meet up on one of the islands?
Looking forward to this trip like you won't believe it!
