Hey all
I would say it depends what kind of work you are looking for.
I'm used to applying for jobs in a suit because that is usually what kind of jobs i'm applying for but if your applying for bar jobs it is different.
btw i'm from Vancouver. if you need any advice let me know.

Hey all
In April i'm backpacking around Mexico for two months then traveling north to Canada and going from east to west and settling in Vancouver for up to a year. I'm wondering if i should take with me any of my set-up clothes (as in the non-backpackery, good clothes for work and going out etc) or just box them and have them shipped from Aus to Vancouver when i finish up in travelling.
I went backpacking last year for 3 months with a 90L bag (which i'll be taking again) and fit both winter and summer gear in it and just shipped it home as i no longer needed it.
Cheers
hi,
Personaly i prefer the later strategy---ship it from Aus to Vancouver while you finish your trip. After all it will last entire a year or you can check out the weather there first to make sure your package. i do not familiar with Canada too
