Good 35mm SLR Camera

So this is more of a photography question rather than 'travel photography' - Still, I hope some of you camera buffs can help me!

Hey makka,

I know this post is over a month old, but I thought I'd still reply to let you know that the Pentax P30T will accept a wide lens as long as you buy a K-mount compatible lens. Essentially you should be looking at Pentax compatible lenses, or researching which other brands will fit on the Pentax body.

When purchasing 35 mm SLRs, you're almost always purchasing a body only. Shops will pair the camera with a 'kit' lens, but the 'body only' option should always be available. It's then up to you to buy the lens of your choice.

For film cameras you can easily find used bodies at any camera shop dealing in used gear, but be careful with the age and condition. Shutters do wear out over time, and eventually the camera will just stop working. Used lenses can often be found for a good price as well.

I know this is an old thread, but thought it might help.

If you meant a 35mm FILM SLR (NOT a digital SLR), then there are plenty of Nikon FM10s floating around.
See where you can find one.

Not an SLR, but packs the punch of one.
