Shipping to Australia

Returning to Aust/NZ soon. Need to ship approx. 1m3 of personal goods from Orlando to Brisbane (or possibly Dunedin, NZ). Have you used Excessbaggage.com, IPS.com or can you recommend a shipper for a small amount of stuff? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm sorry. That should read xsbaggage.com or xsbaggage.co.nz

Whats wrong with just shipping it

Try - I've used them 3 times between NZ and the UK and can recommend them.

@bex76 Do SevenSeas ship between NZ and USA?

@ Dodger I can't buy enough stamps in one place.

I hope you are joking, if you are not, you need to look at the website or visit a post office. A hundred years ago or so they invented a thing called the franking machine which doesn't require stamps. I sent my bicycle and 5 other large boxes all from the US to NZ. They all arrived safely and in about 5 days. Much cheaper than any shipping company.

From what I can see on the website, yes.

www.cargoaustralia.com.au

These people have better rates for Sea &Air.

If you send by sea they charge by the volume. If then you have to per kilo.

You can google for their full details.

In new Zealand best option is Ryders freight. I am not sure about their contact details.

@Dodger. Of course I was joking. You answered my question with a question but tendered no information so that kinda annoyed me. I had no idea that one could mail 200lb of stuff and it would be cheaper than a shipper. That is good to know for the future, although it is not convenient for this shipment. Thanks for the info.

@ Bex76 Yeh, thanks. As soon as I posted that I went to the website and found that info. Sorry for the redundant question. They look good and I'll probably go with them so thanks very much for the recommendation.

@ Denmav Thanks for the info. They don't seem as convenient/suitable for my purpose as SevenSeas, but I appreciate the info. It's good to have comparison sites.

Tendered no information?
Annoyed you?

lol get over yourself mate! You asked a question and I gave you a link with enough information for you to find out yourself. Sorry you are too damn lazy to do a bit of research for yourself.

I just checked Severn seas and they want $900 to ship a bike to NZ and takes 18days. USPS gave me a quote for a large box weighing 50lbs, much more than a bike would weigh and they quoted $337 with 3 day service.

Good luck!
