I've spent all day planning my trip and I think i'm almost sorted. Decided to either fly into Sydney or Brisbane ! Lots i want to do around Brisbane !!! Yeah i'm wanting to see it all :-)

Yes travelling solo so far! And no set plans yet, i'm from Yorkshire so i want try fly from a northern airport but its most likely going to be LDN!
Have you been to Oz before? I went with my family 5 years ago and ever since then been dying to go back! Its so exciting, i need to sort out a route i was set on flying into sydney and doing one of those arrival packages but after coming on here every one has said they are pretty pointless so now i'm looking at other routs and stuff.

Yorkshire - where abouts? I'm from Malton, North Yorkshire ! I'm travelling from LDN , just think it'll be easier !!! No I've never been before I'm so so excited ! :-) My only issue is luggage ! Yeah them Oz intros are pretty rubbish i've heard ! I aren't doing it because just going to meet people in hostels.

And what are you planning to take for luggage, like a suitcase or are you getting a backpack? My mum thinks i need a cricket bag with wheels as they are pretty spacious and will still squash up. I've done a fair bit of travelling so i'm used to travelling light, and i'm, going to make sure in my funds i have a reserve for all the things i forget to pack!
Brisbane would be a good start for me, i have a few friends there but really want to be in sydney for the new years celebrations!

OMG asif haha ! That's cool ! I have no idea i have a little rucksack for my hand luggage but a cricket bag is a really good idea. I was gonna take my big massive suitcase - i cant picture me travelling light. I need everything with me ! lol !!!
I would love to be in Sydney for new years and christmas but i aren't 100% ! I'm torn between Brisbane and Sydney !

Yeah, you need something easy to get around with thats why i'm not keen on taking my suitcase.
And new years in Sydney is incredible trust me!

Hi, you'll be in Melbourne at the time of our Fringe Festival, which is lots of fun! It will be Spring here, so a great time to get out and about exploring!

Im planning on flying to sydney from LDN on my own in sept. Cant wait! Defo spending new years in sydney then work my way up the east coast. Lots i want to see. Hope to meet lots of likeminded people.
