We are two couples planning a road trip from San Diego to Seattle, starting sometime in April next year. First thing: Is it smart to travel from south to north at this time of year, or is it better to start in Seattle? Second: Is this enough time for first-timers? We plan to stop in the major cities, and also see some of the smaller towns around the coast. Third: What do you reccommend to do/see? We have never travelled around in the US before, so we want to see "everything", haha.. We like music, nature, beaches, some sightseeing, shopping, the guys loves cars and guitars... and good food
