i want to climb mount huashan, near Xian in china. I have found that i can train from Xian to Kunming, but from kunming i am struggling how to find a way to get into thailand. Does anyone have any ideas? I would either go into Laos or thailand. I want the cheapest quickest route. thanks so much for any guidance!
If you get into Laos and then into Thailand, to Chiang Rai, you can get a cheap Air Asia flight to Bangkok and another south from there if you want.
Instead we plan to go westwards in Yunnan from Jinhong to Baoshan (Tengchong area) and then up norh to Zhongdian (Shangrila) if possible. So is there anyone of you who has the experience and who can let us know the best way to go about?
