Easiest country in Asia! They still get a hair more in exchange than ordinary cash. There is a fee to cash a TC in one of the many bank money changer kiosks of only 33 baht so only bring the largest denomination TC you can get. But this fee is a bargain compared to the 150 baht ATM fee you pay to get a similar amount from an ATM.
When you cash a TC be prepared to produce your passport for identification and sometimes in the city be asked difficult questions like "what is the name of your hotel?" Also, be asked "what is your room number?"
