Well what can i say ?
You are going about it the wrong way.
See where a cheap flight will take you, via the internet, then book some accommodation and maybe an airport shuttle to and from your accommodation.
It depends on how much money you have and what you want out of a break.
It's coming into the high season now so prices are going up and places will be increasingly busy.
Ryanair and the like has cheapish flights if you take hand luggage only and don't book too late. Today or tomorrow if you can, flying this week.
Hostelbookers and lowcostholidays has cheapish accommodation. HB also has hotels. LCH also has holidays but if on your own, holidays can be a bit expensive with supplements.
Believe me, it's very easy to do.
Benidorm is quite nice (Alicante airport), has two good beaches, lots of eating and drinking places as well as live entertainment, is easy to walk around and places nearby to visit. It gets very busy when the kids are off next month so before then. Check accommodation is not too far from anything.
Lots of shops including cheap Chinese bazaars so you can buy anything else you need there.
somehow i have a feeling that john's not planning to go for a vacation, but to move to a new country and start over there.
well, john, my advice is... do your homework. also, it depends on what you can do for a living, and whether or not the country you're planning to is looking for people with skill sets similar to yours.
perhaps you can share with us what you're doing for a living now, and maybe someone can point you to a country that might be suitable for you...?
Your question is way too general to answer. Do some homework first, then come back...
Good luck with your research.
Cheers,
Terry
Yo,
If your in spain why don't you get the boat to Morocco? I took over 700 pounds sterling on my holiday and only spent 300. Everything you can get down to a third of the price. We had lunch which was 2 meals, 2 drinks and a litre bottle of water and it came to about 5 pounds including tips!
Just a suggestion.
Yours,
Sue222.
